What R40 CrossFit Is All About

CrossFit is a lifestyle characterized by safe, effective exercise and sound nutrition. CrossFit can be used to accomplish any goal, from improved health to weight loss to better performance. The program works for everyone — people who are just starting out and people who have trained for years.

Our group CrossFit training and coaching methodology is designed to be inclusive for all athletes, regardless of age or skills. We teach all the basics about the fundamental CrossFit movements, and we also spend time making sure our athletes know how to scale the workouts either with weight or with body-weight movements. We believe a solid fitness foundation is rooted in proper technique, and proper technique leads to a lasting, injury free routine that becomes a lifestyle.

Our CrossFit group classes are motivational, supportive, and most of all fun! Every class is led by a coach who will walk you through the warm-up, a strength or skill session, and the workout of the day (the WOD). CrossFit uses safe, effective, and efficient movements similar to those you use every day in life.

CrossFit classes are constantly varied, different every day. Movements are infinitely scalable, which means that we can modify any movement to your skill and fitness level. Can’t do a push-up? That’s OK! We will help you find an appropriate movement to replace it. Not quite ready for pull-ups? No problem! We can replace that movement with something else. We are here to help you succeed!
